And in pictures…!
In the new shoes and flight socks… Week 31 /32 of pregnancy
My feet are not beautiful, but I think they really take the biscuit now they are all swollen. It’s the same every single day….
Swelling on my left eye….
not pregnant…
23rd week…
(Sorry that I am in a bikini)
You can really see the leg swelling here.
The four embryos transferred the first time from our round of IVF. None of theses little guys made it unfortunatley.
The IVF transfer #2. As you know, two of these embryos are currently growing fast in my tummy.
Week 6: The very first scan. Two very clear sacs revealed that it was twins. There was always a chance that one of them wouldn’t make it though to the end of the first trimester.
Second scan – 6 wks 5 days. We had another one so soon because our usual Dr was away for the first one and he wanted his own look.
Scan three: twin 1 at week 9. Just like a wriggly jelly baby!
Twin 2 at week 9: A more sedentary jelly baby
at this point, this twin seems to be creating an impression of sleepiness and quietness when compared to the other. Whether it lasts remains to be seen.
This scan made us gasp – this twin did some gymnastics for us. see below for link to video.
Twin 1 at 13 weeks – still very wriggly.
Twin 2 at 13 weeks. Also showing signs of wriggliness. Hooray!
17 weeks -Aug 11. The boy on the left, girl on the right. The view of her is a bit funny – head at the bottom right, knees drawn up.
Confirmation of gender!
This is Smalls, horizontally – top right is her face, then to the L you can see her hands I think. Then you can see what I think is her knee. Underneath I think the vertical body part is Biggo’s leg.
And in case you are still interested, here are the 11 week videos .
sleepy twin –>here<– (wouldn’t blame you if you skipped this one)
and wriggler –>here<–
So sweet. My Dear Wife asked me not to post pics of our scans and embryos to my blog or Facebook but I do love looking at them and remembering back to my pregnancy. I have what seems like hundreds of scan pics. I think I’ll scrapbook a few for the boys.
